OCD has a biological content where many of its victims, have been diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome or head trauma. Usually, the brain structure shows abnormality where sometimes antibodies produce some chemicals and inflammation of cells that trigger the OCD symptoms.
4.       Genetic
Genetic factors play some role in an individual developing OCD. From the many researches done, an individual with a relative who has any anxiety disorder is eight times likely to develop OCD.
5.       Social
Life is getting hard day by day and stress can break an OCD patient down. When stressed, the brain releases chemicals in high levels as the fight for flight response. Any form is a traumatic event is a potential cause of constant compulsive.

The type is treatment received will be determined by the compulsions of what the patient finds necessary to do and should continue immediately the patient start resisting the compulsive.
